Insein Prison
The entrance to the notorious Insein Prison. The International Committee of the Red Cross have reported some of the worst human rights abuses at Insein. Australian businessman Leo Nichols died in Insein Prison during interrogation while serving a 3 year sentence for unauthorised use of a fax machine. He was being interrogated by Bumese Military Intelligence.
