it cannot be successful. Among these Burma is one of the worst
countries in human rights abuse. Also arbitrtary detention is
happened and the following information is one of the examples.
There are about 2500 political prisoners
in Burma for their involvement in Democracy and human rights activities.
As a result, they were sentenced to long-term inprisonment with
hard labour by court martial and summary court. Presently, They

Bo Kyi, Secretary of Assistance Association
for Political Prisoners (AAPP), said this is the sorrowful message
to the all familys who are strongly waiting for the reunion of
their familys. And this is one of the human right abuses by the
military junta. They,AAPP, are concerning about the physical and
mental health of these prisoners and unlimited punishment.
Tait Naing, Secretary of AAPP, added that
they have received the information about Min Ko Naing whose health
situation is deteriorating physically and mentally due to the
torture and long solitary confinement in the prison. In Yangon,
Min Ko Naing's mother was under heart attack when she learned
that her beloved son can not return home after his prison term
completed.
Now, the AAPP is appealing to the international
community, governments, and organizations for their supportings
and helps to release these peoples. Their request to the international
community is very simple but serious and representing 42 millions
people of Burma.
To apply any pressure or measure to the
military regime to free those political prisoners and Burma.
